INTRODUCTION
Barangay Dasmariñas is one of the six (6) gated communities in Makati. It has a total land area of 1.9033 square kilometers with a population density of 3 persons per 1,000 square meter. The village was developed by the Ayala Corporation in 1965 while the local government agency was established in 1971.
Located in the center of the City, Dasmarinas is bounded in the north by EDSA, National Power Corporation (NAPOCOR) right of way in the west, San Antonio Church in the east, and Maricaban Creek in the south.
Our Vision
Barangay Dasmariñas’ vision is to continue being a world class barangay and to represent a model of exemplary governance within Makati City. We plan to accomplish this through efficient delivery of basic
social and economic services with the assistance and cooperation of its constituents and the support of the city government.
Our Mission
Barangay Dasmariñas envisions itself as an exemplary residential community within the world class city of Makati.
Our barangay aims to continually maintain its reputation and position as the community with the highest value property in the Philippines. We make this possible by providing the best security and basic services, as well as environmentally clean surroundings
that ensure the well-being of its residents. With the cooperation of the Makati City government, the local
chief executive, and our various program leaders, the barangay will diligently deliver basic, social, and economic services to its
constituencies to further the development of a peaceful, safe and environmentally sensitive community. Furthermore, to establish
ourselves as a world class barangay, we aim to make social responsibility a hallmark of our community.

POPULATION
It is home to 5,654 residents of local and foreign descent according to the 2010 Census by the National Statistics Office and 7,277 base on the Record of Barangay Inhabitants as of January 2016 in addition to various embassies and consulates such as China, India, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Nigeria, Turkey. Although considered as purely residential in use, the Colegio de San Agustin also holds its residence inside Barangay Dasmariñas.
